When I was 13 years old I saw the Greatest Pro Wrestling Tag Team on television, The Road Warriors w/ Precious Paul Ellering for the first time. From that moment, when the Warriors destroyed their opponents, I was hooked on the sport, which is now my profession. Ever since that day I have became a fan/student of the game, learning the "hard knocks" of the in and outs of this industry called Pro Wrestling. I knew back at 13 I could never be a Pro Wrestler, but I dreamed I could be a Pro Wrestling Manager. My older brother(Tommy) told me when I told him I wanted to get in to this sport, he said,"Follow your dream no matter what anyone says, keep that passion burning, but you have to go to college because even with all that engery you have, Vince McMahon won't hire you if you don't have a college degree." From that day I became a student of the industry, I watched the great managers in action from "PRECIOUS" PAUL ELLERING, BOBBY"THE BRAIN" HEENAN, CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO, JJ DILLION, THE WIZARD, FREDDIE BLASSIE, ARNOLD SKOLAND, JIMMY HART, MR. FUJI, JIM CORNETTE, BILL ALFONSO, and the list goes on. So through High School, and College, I did class presentations on the WWF(now WWE) from a marketing standpoint, and proved( back then) why Pro Wrestling was a product to invest in. I had to sell the company to the class why to watch and buy WWF(WWE) products. I did essays on the impact of Pro Wrestling, Hosted my own Radio show at Elmhurst College for 3+ years to work on my interview skills. I started meeting my heroes that I grew up watching to get their perspective in the business.
When I graduated from college in 1996, I decided while working in the family business, I still wanted to find a way to get my dream job. Later in 1996 I had an opportunity to host/produce a cable show HERO TV,(which become WRESTLING RESOURCE TV) which one year later I won with the help of my younger brother David, Entertainment Series of the Year. With HERO TV/ WRESTLING RESOURCE TV I have interviewed over 80 top Wrestling superstars from WWF/WCW/ECW. The list includes, THE ROAD WARRIORS/PAUL ELLERING, RIC FLAIR, THE UNDERTAKER, BRET HART, THE ROCK, VINCE MCMAHON, LINDA MCMAHON, RVD, TED DIBIASE, STEVE CORINO, and the list goes on.
With all this knowledge and experience I started traveling to ECW events, I became friends with a lot stars and I helped out anyway I could. I met the owner of ECW, Mr. Paul Heyman, who was a manager when he started( Paul E Dangerously) . In 1981 Heyman met his heroes ALBANO, BLASSIE, and THE WIZARD, which inspired him to get in the business.I told Mr.Heyman that I would prove I could/and will be an asset in the sport of Pro Wrestling, which he encouraged me to keep up the good work. I learned a lot from them, and was even told by Tony Devito, I was too tall to do interviews (being 6'4) and I told him he was too short to wrestle (in which he was one of the toughest guys I knew) One of the stars from ECW, NEW JACK told me in Buffalo, NY to forget what anyone tells you why don't you follow your dreams and be a manager, theres no height requirement to be one just come up with the right gimmick, that works for YOU. So with encouragement and advice from guys like BILL ALFONSO,(Manager of Champions) THE SANDMAN, TOMMY DREAMER, JERRY LYNN, LITTLE GUIDO, SPIKE DUDLEY, FRANCINE, JOEL GERTNER and others I devised by plan to follow a 15 year dream.
Fast forward to 2000, I became what I now am, PL MYERS "THE SHOT TO THE TOP" Pro Wrestling Manager Extrodiniare. On April 29,2000 I walked down that walk way into the PWI( now PCW) ring and made history. Ever since that day I have managed the LWF TAG CHAMPS(TEAM FIREPRO),

IUWA TAG CHAMPS( KARINAL KLIQ),
PCW CRUSIERWEIGHT CHAMPION(FLY BOY TK),

7 different champions 4 different companys(not bad from April 29,2000-to present
I have become the most powerful man in Chicago in and outside the ring earning that title from Bigtime on APRIL 20, 2002. I have accomplished this with hard work and the backing of PCW (PRO CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING), CHICAGO IL, my home company. I have had even the honor of managing the ROAD WARRIORS in October 20, 2001, being only one of 3 people to do that (ELLERING, SUNNY, & me). On June 7, 2003 PCW held its anniversary show DREAM NIGHT 2, in OAK LAWN, IL. and had the ROAD WARRIORS and reunited with them PAUL ELLERING, to celebrate 20 years in the business (JUNE 6, 1983-JUNE 7, 2003) and captured their 7th title with ELLERING( NWA, AWA, WCW, NWA -6MAN, ALL JAPAN, WWF, AND PCW) and along with JIMMY SUPERFLY SNUKA, where PL was given by Snuka a chance to send a message to the world and cracked me on the head with a coconut and end the situation that was made famous 19 years earlier. PCW also set an attendance for the indy scene in 2003 of 1,064 paid in attendance in the US. not bad for a kid following a dream.
PL MYERS "THE SHOT TO THE TOP" is dertimine to reach Destiny, carries the torch for the old school male managers that inspired him and show either I'LL BEAT YOU WITH BRILLIANCE, or prove why I am "THE MOST POWERFUL MAN IN CHICAGO" While I lead the CHICAGO CONNECTION along with the KINGPIN, we prove "Were every thing your not, nothing that you'll be !"
